The Phase 4 of the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (pyei phase 4 2023) is now open again. The Department of Basic Education is again looking for young people to support and assist schools in their areas. From Wednesday, 1 February 2023 marks the beginning of the academic year and provides an opportunity for the youth to be in schools at a critical time and period when they are needed.

Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI phase 4) per province

1. Eastern Cape Province will only take 40 100 young people, at which on the first batch starting 1 May 2023.
2. Free State Province will only take 15 500 young people for Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI) starting on the 1st of May 2023.
3. Gauteng Province will give 40 000 youth the job opportunity for Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI) starting from 1 May 2023.
4. KZN (Kwa-Zulu Natal) will consider giving 59 500 Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI) job opportunities as of 1 May 2023.
5. Limpopo Province will make sure that 35 000 youth benefit from the Phase 4 of Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI).
6. Mpumalanga Province will take 22 000 young people to various schools for Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI).
7. Northern Cape Province has a space of only 7 000 young people to benefit from Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI).
8. North West Province has to make sure that 16 000 young people benefit for the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI).
9. Western Cape has 21 000 spaces to place youth for Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI) job opportunity.
