Benefits of using BABS

Submitted by: Cynthia Rambarly

The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) has introduced a new online appointment booking system called BABS (Branch Appointment Booking System). This system allows citizens to book appointments to process smart ID card and passport applications at selected Home Affairs offices. BABS is a convenient and efficient way to avoid long queues at Home Affairs offices.

How to book an appointment with BABS?

To book an appointment, you will need to visit the BABS website and create an account. Once you have created an account, you can log in and select the office and service you want to book an appointment for. You will then be able to see a list of available time slots.
