Kyalami Corner has exciting events planned for the whole family this holiday season, 

Kyalami, Gauteng – Kyalami Corner is gearing up for a brilliant festive season with several events coming up to surprise and delight visitors of all ages. From Christmas markets and a Spinathon to gift wrapping services and a safe play area for kids.

Activities kick off with a Rock n Ride Spinathon on 2 December. Virgin Active, Mr Price Sports and The Sweat Shack have banded together to bring visitors a spin session with a difference: participants will get their cardio done while listening to live music provided by the band Walking Down Essex. Michelle from The Sweat Shack will lead the Spinathon, which takes place outside the gym between 8 am and 10 am.

If you prefer to take things a little easier, head down to the lower-level parking to enjoy some early shopping at Kyalami Corner’s Christmas Market which starts at 10 am and runs until 4 pm. Shop for the perfect gifts from a choice of crafts, collectables and curios. This promises to be a fun experience for the entire family. There will be a kids’ play area with seating for the adults and some fantastic entertainment.

Settle the “what’s for Christmas dinner” argument on 8 December. Jackson’s Real Food Market will be hosting a food and wine tasting evening, featuring some of South Africa’s most outstanding wines. Enjoy gorgeous wine and a selection of gourmet dishes between 5 pm and 8 pm.

With the festive season’s arrival, it’s important to know how to stay safe. Fidelity ADT will provide a display of their cleaning, fire and response services on 9 December. The security company will also provide guidance on how to stay safe over the holidays and beyond.

If you really don’t fancy wrapping tons of presents, or you need some help in that department, Kyalami Corner will have a gift wrapping station on site between 15 and 24 December. This is in aid of the Midrand SPCA.

While you get the shopping done and gifts are being wrapped, let the kids make the most of the play area between 15 and 24 December. They will learn how to make sustainable arts and crafts as well as Christmas décor items.
