Kyalami, Gauteng – The much-anticipated 947 Ride Joburg is just around the corner, and the route will be taking cyclists right past Kyalami Corner on 20 November 2022.

The upper level of the shopping centre is the best spot for friends, family, and supporters to both view the ride and cheer cyclists on. Kyalami Corner has arranged an exclusive viewing experience with seating and standing options, a shaded area, restrooms, and spectators’ goodie bags packed with cheering essentials. And, with Kyalami Corner being an official Vibe Zone for the ride, spectators can be sure to enjoy a little extra fun and excitement.

Refreshment stalls by retailers and restaurant specials will also be available, so that fans can enjoy their favourites while watching the ride. There is no better way to witness this annual ride that’s always action packed and filled with exhilarating fun.

Begonia Road will be closed for the day, affecting the upper-level parking entrances. Alternative access will be provided to the upper-level parking from the lower-level parking via Main Road.

Although Kyalami Corner’s entry booms to the upper parking level will be closed, the following shops will be open and trading on 20 November:

The 947 Ride Joburg cycle race has proved a very popular spectator event more than 20 years. It sees thousands of cyclists take to Johannesburg’s streets in its 26th edition. The ride starts at 5am and concludes at 5pm. The race takes cyclists on an epic circuit around Johannesburg and Soweto.
