Rosé is pink, violets are blue...

Rosé is pink, violets are blue...

You don’t need a dinner reservation at a fancy restaurant to have a memorable Valentine’s Day. A simple night in with a delicious romantic cocktail is just what the doctor ordered!

Picture brightly burning scented candles, a simple but delicious homemade meal, vibrant red roses at the centre of the table and gentle music playing in the background. The only thing missing from this romantic picture is the drink – and nothing says romance like the rose-pink hue of this Rosé Cocktail. It balances sweet and delicate, with a sour twist to tickle the taste buds, and just a dash (or 4) of magic, all to complete the perfect evening.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so make sure to have your Rosé sparkling wine on ice and ready for this special occasion. Follow this recipe:

Rosé Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • Rosé sparkling wine
  • 22ml lemon juice
  • 30ml simple syrup
  • 4 dashes ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitter
  • Rose petals for garnish

Method:

Add the ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters, lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a coupe glass and top with the rosé sparkling wine. Finish it off by garnishing with your red rose petals for extra love and enjoy!
