How low (- ABV) can you go?

It’s all about mocktails and low-ABV drinks this year, and ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters is all for it!

The popularity of no- to low-ABV drinks has surged dramatically over the last couple of years and shows no signs of slowing down as we head into 2023. This low alcohol trend has served as a health-conscious solution for people who want to decrease their alcohol consumption, but still crave a refreshing drink every now and then. And this is when ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters is your best friend! With just a dash (or two), being health-conscious never tasted this good! Although ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters have a high alcohol content by volume, when a few dashes are added to any cocktail, the alcohol is nearly negligible as the quantity used is small.

So, in the spirit of keeping with the health-conscious trend, here is a delicious mocktail recipe for you to enjoy this January!

Sweet Sunrise Mocktail

Ingredients:

  • 120ml orange pineapple juice
  • 15ml grenadine syrup
  • 2-3 dashes of ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters
  • Ice
  • Slice of orange or pineapple to garnish

Method:

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add in the bitters, then top with the orange pineapple juice. Add the grenadine syrup, which sinks to the bottom and then rises to the top again. Garnish with a slice of orange or pineapple. Serve immediately and enjoy!
