The E-Mobility Congress of South Africa is pleased to announce its partnership with AutoTrader for the 2023 conference, which will take place on the 18th – 19th of April 2023. South Africa’s No.1 trusted motoring marketplace is the two-day conference’s official Presenting Media Partner.

AutoTrader is South Africa’s largest automotive marketplace, which directly connects car buyers and sellers across the country. Their expertise in the automotive sector, as well as their massive consumer car shopping reach, will add significant value to the conference and aid in spreading the awareness of electric vehicles across South Africa.

 The EMCSA 2023 conference will host policy makers, academia, entrepreneurs, engineering and automotive bodies, development organisations and civil society in discussions that will inform the future of mobility in the country. The theme for this year’s conference is “South Africa, an EV Friendly Ecosystem”.

The agenda consists of topics including; fleet evolution, the link between industry and academia, unlocking opportunities for electric vehicle manufacturing in South Africa, an overview of effective policy measures for promoting EVs, development of infrastructure for an EV ecosystem, the role of power utilities in electro-mobility, skills development and training for the electric future, battery design and manufacturing, the rise of electric vehicles and the evolution of OEM supply chains, and many other insightful and engaging topics.

AutoTrader CEO, George Mienie, is among the list of speakers that will be sharing insights into the future of electric vehicles in the country at EMCSA 2023.
