"Being a musician especially when you are Queer was very difficult for me" Says the young singer. The 25 year old singer talks about his first single being conceptualised on a heterosexual relationship. At that stage it was difficult for Keanu to express himself as an artist and what he stands for. 

Then the struggles of being broke and queer came which made his decision of being an artist even worse because he literally had to hustle even harder for the little he accomplished back in 2014 - 2016.

"Family was never supportive as I was always told that being a singer isn't something you could make a living from. I've grown up in a house where we were told once you done with matric you have to go study further to get a better education and a better life. That never phased me as I did all that and still music was my first choice."

As a adult now thinking back that must have been difficult for a teenager to understand as we all know when you have a passion in life that's the only think you can think of at the stage.

Moving to Johannesburg in 2019 trying to make it but the first attempt was a fail. Tried again in 2021 and got to link up with people who he can call friends today. Members of the Hit tv show '' Real Housewives of Johannesburg" Christall Kay & Lerika Kleinhans. Things are starting to fall in place slowly as he decided to host my his very first concert as a come back in the music industry and busy recording new music as well.
