Holiday fun at Crocworld Conservation Centre
Submitted by: Agnes MatladiVisitors descended on the KZN Mid-South Coast this festive season and took advantage of the epic holiday programme running at Crocworld Conservation Centre in Scottburgh.
There were daily crocodile and bird feedings, talks, and snake demonstrations to keep the whole family captivated. A definite holiday highlight was the 123rd birthday celebration of one of Crocworld’s most famous residents, Henry the Nile crocodile.
On Saturday, 16 December, visitors celebrated this major milestone with free cupcakes and some time spent with the oldest known Nile crocodile in captivity. Crocworld’s on-site restaurant, The Fish Eagle Café, was also buzzing with hungry patrons enjoying the best burger-and-view combination on the KZN South Coast!
