Dr Pooley Hosts Rewilding Talk at Renishaw Hills
Submitted by: Agnes MatladiRenowned South African botanist and landscaper, Dr Elsa Pooley, who is instrumental to the design and maintenance of the Renishaw Hills gardens, gave an informative talk on Rewilding to residents on Tuesday.
This focuses on the importance of enabling natural processes to repair damaged ecosystems and restore landscapes. She was joined by Wade Killian, Reptile Curator of Crocworld Conservation Centre, who spoke about the various snake species in the mid-KZN South coast, sharing tips on identifying snakes and treatment for bites.
