Coming together over Heritage weekend!

Heritage Day is all about unity! It reminds us all to celebrate and preserve our cultural heritage but to encourage harmony and a sense of belonging for every South African.

The iconic Durban Street Food Festival is doing just that! Bringing the community together and celebrating a diverse festival of culture in food, fashion, entertainment, arts & crafts, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

From Friday, September 23 between 17h00 to 22h00, and on Saturday, September 24 from 11h00 to 22h00 and finally to wrap up the spirit of ubuntu Heritage weekend on Sunday, September 25 from 11h00 to 19h00. There is a wide musical assortment of entertainment from Josh Devine, Breezy V, Tim Lewis, J-Cue, DJ Night Vision, Posterboy, Desmond and the Tutus, Veranda Panda, DJ Sanks and Wah Wah Baby amongst others to get those feet tapping, whilst enjoying the tasty treats that are on offer.

When you are not grooving to the beats from the live musical, maybe the Virgin Active personal instructors can get you going with a short interactive dance workout on Saturday and Sunday with loads of prize giveaways!

There will also be some fun in the sun (well, undercover) for the little ones, where the sprogs will find their own Candy Land interactive kid zone area from jumping castles, a ball pit, inflatable slide, a bubble machine, a face painting station, and of course lots of fabulous kiddie treats from candy floss, popcorn, snow cones, slushies and waffle sticks that will be available in the kidzone.

No need to stand in-line when you can book online now for the 6th instalment of the #DSFF hosted at The Pavilion Shopping Centre in the undercover rooftop parking; outside entrance 5 (near Green Cross) at quicket.co.za or https://qkt.io/EyNAjt. Remember, kids under 12 enter the festival for free and adult day passes start from R80 per person sold online and at the door. Better still, you can get a weekend pass at just R150 per person.

Remember, the #DSFF is prepped for all our rugby enthusiasts as there will be a live screening of the rugby action on Saturday, September 24 for the championship game between South Africa & Argentina with beer garden specials to add even more excitement.
