SA’s dopest vodka snags nomination for Best International Brand at the 2021 SA Hip Hop Awards
We’re excited to announce that Russian Bear has been nominated in the Best International Brand category for the second consecutive year at the 2021 SA Hip Hop Awards. Sharing the category with some incredible industry heavyweights, this nomination showcases the collaboration opportunities that Russian Bear has created over the past year.
“This nomination speaks to the impact that our collaborations have within the hip hop industry,” says Luwanda Mxhosana, Brand Manager for Russian Bear. “As one of South Africa’s favourite vodka brands, we firmly believe that collaboration is key to taking urban culture to the #NextLevel. Collaboration is in Russian Bear’s DNA, and we have joined forces with numerous creatives on some of the most exciting campaigns, including the Ultimate Collab Competition, the Energy Fusion House Party and the release of our new Limited Edition Pack (LEP). It is such an honour to be recognised by South African hip hop enthusiasts for our contribution to the country’s urban landscape. We’re thrilled and so grateful to form part of the SA Hip Hop Awards and represent this category”.
Another win for the brand is that their #NextLevel celebrity brand ambassadors, the first lady of SA hip hop Nadia Nakai and SAMA-winning duo Blaq Diamond, have also been nominated in their respective categories, Artist of the Decade and Best Video of the Year. “We’d like to extend a huge congratulations to both collaborating partners, who we consider to be the dopest in the industry,” concludes Mxhosana.
Details around the SA Hip Hop Awards will be announced later this year.
