Wallet One South Africa has launched W1 Checkout, a payment aggregator for e-commerce merchants and service providers, enabling them to offer customers an increasing number of online and cash payment methods with immediate, safe and secure processing.

Electronic payments are processed through Wallet One’s PCI DSS certified payment gateway and 3D secure acquiring partners. Cash payments for online purchases are carried out through Wallet One’s growing agent network including self-service kiosks and bank ATM’s and points of service. Along with the soon-to-be-launched retail point of sale network Wallet One’s top-up footprint across South Africa will total more than 70,000 points of service outlets.

W1 Checkout enables merchants to service customers, conduct secure transactions, manage their online business and keep track of sales and figures, as well as customize flexible payment rates and withdrawal instructions to suit their business requirements – all via a user friendly web interface. One merchant is able to manage multiple online stores from a single account.

Merchants are able to quickly launch and add W1 Checkout to their website though instant account registration, easy API integration and various prebuilt CMS modules.
