Mimosa Networks, a leader in cloud-managed, fibre-fast fixed wireless systems for the post-copper era, has appointed Duxbury Networking as a distributor serving South Africa.  

The companies will partner to increase awareness in the African marketplace for Mimosa’s portfolio of next-generation wireless solutions designed for applications in which long-distance, high-performance and highly reliable connectivity is required.  

As one of South Africa’s foremost value-added distributors, Duxbury Networking will be offering Mimosa solutions via its reseller/dealer channel together with a high level of technical backup and extensive pre-sales and post-sales support.  

Andy Robb, chief technology officer at Duxbury Networking, says Mimosa connects legacy fibre-based networks and remote Internet users by building gigabit wireless platforms for users and service providers who demand the same capacity, speed and reliability as fibre-based networks.
