On the 29 May 2023 Red Bull Unlocked celebrated the best of Jozi’s nightlife when it took over Victoria Yards this past Saturday. Ten of the best clubs and bars came together under one roof and delivered the ultimate party experience.

Red Bull Unlocked is a mash-up of music, food, and culture, which are at the heart of Mzansi’s nightlife. From performing artists and DJs to bars and clubs, and a photo opportunity with the Red Bull F1 car, the night was definitely one to remember.

There was no need to car-pool from one venue to the other as the clubs and bars were walking distance from each other – all giving the partygoers an unforgettable experience.

The venues that took over Victoria Yards were Little Greenside (Altar Bar, Best Friends Street Bar, and The Last Alpaca); Blondie Restaurant Cape Town which brought in their famous pink Cadillac; Brown Sugar which held a silent disco; Jozi Gin; The Hang Awt 1632; Ayepyep; the Until Until Group; and Jessica Mashaba Experience called Breath, which had a special appearance by Nadia Nakai.

The Red Bull Hub was the highlight of the night as it hosted the country’s hottest musicians and DJs who brought the best of Mzansi’s sound from amapiano, to hip-hop and Gqom, that kept partygoers on their feet the entire night.

The best of South Africa’s performing artists including Blxckie, Daliwonga, 25K, Felo le Tee, Maglera Doe Boy, and Soweto’s Finest and more together with the hottest DJs; Ayanda MVP, Tha Cutt, PH, Kyotic, Kat La Kat, Que DJ and DJ Lag among others brought the house down and had everyone dancing the night away.

This was the best experience I ever had, a total out of this world experience. The food, the music, the journey to the venues, it was amazing. Redbull Unlocked is something that every youthful person needs to experience. I would do it again and 5x more.
