CultureFest 2022 is presented by Bukelani Institute NPC in association with Isigqi Sobuntu Organisation (ISO). Celebrating African culture and the African New Year, performances will include cultural dances, poetry, gospel and contemporary kasi style dance.

Bukelani Institute NPC is committed to systems-thinking and cooperative economics approach to the development of the creative industries and computer sciences. By hosting CultureFest, young performers will showcase their talent to an expectant audience of fellow youth members and their parents. Fittingly, CultureFest will host the event at the historic Bat Centre, a community arts development and cultural entertainment centre located within the Small Craft Harbour off Durban’s Victoria Embankment. A strong line-up of upcoming groups from uMlazi, Ntuzuma and uMzinyathi will share the stage with their reverting performance.

CultureFest will be held on Thursday, 06 October 2022 at the Bat Centre, Durban from 11h00 to 15h00.
