As the global movement towards sustainable beauty gains traction in the face of the global environmental crisis, the cosmetic and beauty industry is evolving. And we are beginning to see more cosmetic products supplied in recycled and biodegradable packaging containers, which cut down dramatically on plastic waste.

Since its inception in post-war Berlin in 1945, Kryolan Professional Make-Up has placed emphasis on sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients and has historically stood by these principles.

Kryolan’s collection of eye shadow and rouge palettes ranges from singles to trios in five, eight, 15 or 20 shades. Foundations are available in six, 12 and 24 shade variations. These palettes are not only entirely customisable, but they are also conveniently refillable, meaning less waste.

Eye shadow and blusher shades are supplied in 36mm “godets” or pans, which fit into any of the existing palette containers. When a shade is finished, simply poke it out through a hole at the bottom of the palette and pop your new shade into place, pressing down gently with your palm onto a tissue to secure it.

The foundation and face/body paint refills are supplied in 4ml containers, which conveniently clip in and out of your foundation palette. These refills are entirely recyclable and easy to replace. Each refill covers approximately 30-40 full-face applications (depending on the heaviness of your application). So, it is easy to ensure that your foundations and paints can be customised to your specific requirements.

Last but not least the Kryolan lipsticks are also available in a six, 12 and 24 shade variation customisable for every lip.
