Look After Your Brand

Submitted by: Fred Felton

After seeing what has been happenning in the press lately with some high profile companies and  brands we feel it is only necessary to give you some tips on how to look after your brand.

1.  What you tweet reflects on your brand.

Remember if you say or tweet something it is out there.  All it takes is for someone to copy it and share it.  Think before you tweet.

2.  Be careful what you share.

Sometimes it is not always wise to take that picture of you at a party getting drunk.

Is that the image you want to share?

3.  Look at how you dress.

Is this the style and image you want to convey.  People see you first.  Remember that.

4.  Sometimes you need to do some damage control.

If your brand gets damaged sometimes you have to step in and fix things up.  If necessary even apologize and set things right.

5. Look after your logo

Make sure your company logo is protected under copyright laws so that nobody can claim to be you and damage your company and reputation.

This advice should help you build your brand.
