A Tranquil oasis amidst the bustle of greater Johannesburg

Submitted by: Cindy

Julius Jeppe, knighted in 1922 for his pioneering role in the development of Johannesburg, married Grace Cowen in 1891 and together they had five children.

This is the house Sir Jeppe built for his eldest daughter.

This gorgeous building underwent extensive restoration, and today amplifies its more than 100 years of history.

The View Boutique Hotel is a luxury five star hotel, located in the heart of the historic leafy suburb of Auckland Park at 19 Molesey Avenue, conveniently within walking distance to the University of Johannesburg and near to the SABC, Media24, Ithemba Labs and WITS University.

The View Boutique Hotel features 6 suites with free wireless internet, mini bars,  tea and coffee making facilities, multi channel LCD TV, bathrobes and slippers to name but a few, it is all pure pampering and indulgence.

The magic however,  begins the minute you step foot into this beautiful mansion, so called “The View”, because it provides a tranquil oasis, a gem from where one can dine alfresco in the restaurant, overlooking the millions of lights reflecting the vibrant life of Johannesburg.

Another stunning feature is the extensive, terraced gardens with soft lights completing its beauty, and in which during warm summer months plays host to many in music and song.

The View Boutique Hotel serves both business and leisure guests seeking first class accommodation, private meeting or dining rooms & conferencing facilities.
