Relais & Châteaux reinforces executive management to support development

Since 2 January 2012, Jean-François Ferret has supported Jaume Tàpies, International President of Relais & Châteaux and runs the operations of the Association on the international level.

He takes over marketing and sales activities for the benefit of the brand and provides the 518 members in almost 60 countries with the necessary support.

The Essec Business School graduate, aged 49, has a significant experience in executive management positions and a strong expert knowledge in the field of services. After he joined the financial directorate of the Group Havas Voyages in 1988, he acted as Deputy Director General of Havas Voyages and American Express Voyages before he was appointed Director General of Thomas Cook France in 2000. He continued his professional career with European functions as Senior Vice-President Western Europe of the Thomas Cook Group and then CFO of Western Europe for the catering company Compass, adding an international dimension to his career path.

Back in France in 2005, he joined Manpower France as Director General. Since 2010 he had been Director General of Hertz France.
