Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate, Franschhoek, will once again celebrate the art of superb cuisine, award-winning wines, foot-tapping music and the work of South Africa’s most famed artists, at the renowned Franschhoek Uncorked Festival, taking place from 3 - 4 September 2011.

To fully embrace the culinary indulgence during the festival, an array of oriental tapas will be on offer at the Estate, created by Executive Chef, Darren Roberts and his culinary team, which includes tempura prawns, steaming bowls of delicious mussels, succulent oysters amongst others.

Guests are invited to experience the Estate’s newest wine releases – the Grande Provence Chardonnay 2011 and the Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc 2011, created by the award-winning winemaker, Jaco Marais, which now form part of the Estate’s existing signature wine collection.

The Estate offers guests a complimentary bottle of its famous Grande Provence winter red wines when purchasing six bottles of its signature Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Wine tastings of all of the Grande Provence wines will also be available.

Guests will be entertained by live music by Marimba Vibrations while games of boules will be enjoyed on the expansive manicured gardens, with fantastic prizes also on offer.

During this time, ‘The Gallery’ at Grande Provence will present ‘Habitat’, an exhibition showcasing paintings and drawings by famed South African artist, Brahm van Zyl.
