New travel blog, Baecation Travels launches on WordPress to inspire couples to travel together, exploring, discovering and experiencing new adventures while creating unique memories with the one you love.

Some of you have heard this word “baecation”, as Urban dictionary puts it:

A vacation with bae. It’s a combination of bae and vacation.

For example, “Josh took his bae, Melissa on a bae-cation to Seychelles Islands, Africa”. 

Taking a baecation is the dream for many couples, it is meant to be a time for both of you to explore a new country and go on many different adventures together. A lot of people never really invest in making that dream happen. The thought of going away with your significant other can be a scary and intimidating one, as it puts your relationship to the ultimate test. Your partner will be the first person you see in the morning and the last person you see before you to sleep. You will spend a lot of time together, just the two of you. This is bound to teach you more about your partner and determine if you can handle their habits, the good, bad and ugly. 

New couples should take their first vacation together 10 months into the relationship for best results, according to new research (OnePoll, 2019).

A new study examining the concept of a “baecation” looked at how couples navigate their first trip together, and found the smoothest vacation happens when couples have been together for just short of a year. For a vacation to be successful, respondents say the most important factors are picking the right destination (69%), having a budget that works for both partners (61%) and good planning (60%). Making sure you and your partner are serious about each other (51%) and being able to compromise (44%) were also contributing factors.

Baecation Travels is only a week old and has already hit their first 100 followers on Instagram, they’re calling all travel wolves and couples to join the movement to getting 1,000 followers and experience the power of authentic connections with your partner in environments that support and nurture love, peace and happiness.
