There are a variety of events, and things to do and see, that have been carefully put together keeping fine art in mind, and the cooking demos are no exception.

Chef Jean Delport encompasses a distinguished approach to food and fine dining at Benguela on Main, and while the restaurant is owned and operated by Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate in Walker Bay, Hermanus, Delport is a real innovator in the kitchen. His classical French and English training at Zevenwacht Chef School, has equipped him to take fine dining to the next level and he uses only fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.

He will be cooking up a storm at Mac Brothers Pop-up Kitchen where partakers will be able to see and taste Jean’s cooking first-hand. He will be presenting an ice-cream sandwich pastry demonstration as well as a fine dining dish and an at-home alternative.
