2016 eCommerce Africa Confex promising to exceed expectations after a phenomenal 2015 edition in February

After a successful event, TrueERP, Vizury, IGroup, Kode 88, Courier IT, Payfast and eSolutions have come on board for a second consecutive year.  South Africa's largest multichannel media logistics company, On The Dot, have recently confirmed that they will be joining this powerful line up of previous sponsors and exhibitors.

We are delighted to announce that we have secured another brilliant advisory panel, including Vinny Lingham, Co-Founder and CEO of Gyft.  Vinny is a globally recognized entrepreneur focusing on Mobile, Online Marketing & SaaS business models. Selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur and Young Global Leader he has passion to build Internet based companies. He co-founded the non profit organization, Silicon Cape Initiative, which aims to build a high-tech cluster in South Africa. Prior to co-founding Gyft, he co-founded Clicks2Customers.com and Yola.com. Vinny is also a Dragon on Dragons Den South Africa.

Serial entrepreneur and Groupon South Africa CEO, Emilian Popa will also be bringing his expertise to the table. Prior to becoming Groupon SA CEO, Emilian founded Africa Internet Accelerator, the ecommerce builder behind 3 online retailers: style36, 5rooms and kinderelo. Emilian started Rocket Internet South Africa and ran it as Managing Director, while founding the first two Rocket ventures in South Africa, Zando.co.za (leading SA online fashion store). Prior to Rocket Internet South Africa, Emilian co-founded Twangoo.co.za/Groupon in South Africa, Wimdu.com in China (peer-to-peer accommodation), Airizu.com in China (peer-to-peer accommodation),DealHayom.co.il in Israel (group buying), Lamoda.ru (Russia's leading online fashion store). Emilian has 7 years of experience with Big 4 reputable consulting firms, 3 years of advertising agency experience and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School/London Business School and a BA from Sciences Po Paris.

Joe Ockleberry, Internet Strategist for Naspers will also be sharing his wealth of knowledge during the production of the confex.  Prior to joining Naspers in 2011, Joe has been an Associate Internet  Analyst at Morgan Stanley as well as JP Morgan.  In 2007, he co-founded Trefis.com, a company that helps its users understand how companies' stock prices are influenced by its products.
