For fantastic live music and an unbeatable atmosphere, make sure you head down to the Bay Harbour Market, in Hout Bay this weekend from the 13-15 April.

Taking to the market’s Brampton Sound Stage on Friday evening is Abbott Nu Jazz. Created by Guillaume de Villiers, this unique jazz-fusion outfit is bound to wow audiences as they cross and blend genres with a creative use of contemporary technology. Visitors to the Bay Harbour Market, Hout Bay will find themselves in luck as Abbott Nu Jazz will keep the festivities going for an extra hour this weekend as they groove until 10pm.

Saturday afternoon’s entertainment comes from local jazz band the Jackson Vibe. The members of this young outfit began their musical careers playing at a community church and have gone on to become popular Hout Bay regulars with their blend of jazz and swing.

On Sunday, the weekend draws to a close with an exciting performance from South African singer-songwriter Stefan Dixon, fresh off his successful European tour. Stefan performs acoustic, melodic rock and draws his influence from the likes of Vusi Mahlasela and Johnny Clegg.
