Total Change: 94 title deeds in Ennerdale is just the beginning
Submitted by: MyPressportal TeamThe DA-led City of Joburg handed 94 title deeds to the community of Finetown in Ennerdale. The City aims to issue 795 title deeds to families across Joburg. The DA sees property rights as a basic right and we want to see land and property ownership being realised for the many who do not yet own land in our country.
Pensioner Shadrack Mbhalati and his wife Joyce are among the beneficiaries who recently received their title deeds from the DA–led City of Joburg. They live with their three children and one grandchild.
The DA is working hard to see South Africans being given ownership of land, not only as a step towards rectifying the injustices of the past but also towards the economic empowerment of our people and their families.
We reject land expropriation without compensation, which will see an already corrupt ANC government take ownership of property.
Where we govern we have the best track record in ensuring that South Africans become property owners because we are committed to giving our people the dignity that they deserve, through giving them ownership of their property.
The DA is the only party that can bring about total change that builds one South Africa for all.
