FitActiveX launches Youth Xplosion Challenge

FitActiveX, a newly launched lifestyle event to promote physical movement, is inviting youth of all abilities, in the age groups of U-10 to U-18, to enter the FitActiveX Youth Xplosion (FYX) and to show off their talent through displaying their skills in sports exercises, singing, dancing, theatre, drama and instrumental performances, respectively and get a direct ticket to participate in the World Virtual Youth Festival later in the year as well as competing for a place in the SportsFest Africa, taking place in March 2022.

Entries are open in five different Competitions and participants will choose which ones they would like to enter and record a short video of their performances and upload it via the Internet or send it via social media and a WhatsApp number, which will be provided after they’ve registered their interest to participate in the event.

One of the popular categories would be the Aero FIT Competition where entrants will record their 3-minute video, doing a fitness routine to music and teams could consist of two people in any gender combination.

The Talent Competition will also feature 3-minute videos of the entrants showcasing their talent for singing, musical instrument performances, theatre-drama and dance, respectively.

In the All Abilities Competition, entrants will submit a 1-minute video featuring a “Physical challenge, accompanied by an educational aspect where competitors will be required to share their knowledge of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s.”

In the Special Olympics Competition, contestants will be assessed based on demonstrating the most personal improvement in their respective challenges over two different stages in order to be declared the winners.

The most challenging category in the whole programme is the MAX FIT Competition, where entrants will display strength, power and stamina against their fellow competitors by doing physical exercises over three rounds to reach the final.

Entries to all Competitions are free of charge and the only cost is to upload the videos to the platform, of which a link will be provided after registration.

The FitActiveX organisers will also host Xplosion Days in various towns and cities across Africa, only for those who’ll be invited, to also compete for a place in the SportsFest Africa event, that is taking place in March 2022, which is an additional programme to that of the World Virtual Youth Festival, outlined above.
