From Gangster to Soccer Legend

South African Soccer legend, Mark Williams, releases his debut book in which he details the behind the scenes of his success in both soccer and life.

Mark is best known for scoring the only two goals in the AFCON finals which helped SA to win the cup in 96’.

His latest book reveals how he escaped gangsterism in the cape flats, experienced racism and prejudice in his soccer career, was offered an attractive contract to not play for SA in the AFCON 96, and many more hair raising moments that he has never voiced out until now.

His memoir will be released on the 30th of June, it is also available for pre-order through the publisher, TW Publishers. Mark is also available for any media appearances, reviews and interviews through his publisher whose contacts are below.
