Beat Load Shedding with Ulwazi Energy TechnologiesSubmitted by Archy Hlahla
The month of October was remarkably busy at Ulwazi Energy Technologies. The Ulwazi team completed numerous projects in and outside Johannesburg successfully, leaving clients happy, powered up using clean solar energy as their primary source of power and others as back up, saving them money on utility bills, not having to worry about load shedding, outstanding debts and credit problems.
Situated in Regents Park, south of Johannesburg, Ulwazi Energy Technologies is fast becoming a leader in the renewable energy industry. The company specializes in solar installation, generator services, solar geyser installation, COC certification, prepaid meter installation and all other electrical services.
Ulwazi has been operating since 2012 and has helped many clients and businesses. The company has provided clean, renewable energy in houses, apartments, cottages, factories, student accommodations and completed other bigger projects with their partners in and outside South Africa.
This month, on the first of October, the Ulwazi team installed a Ulwazi Lite system in Pretoria, Soshanguve, providing power to a client who never had electricity before. This was not only a solar installation, but a life changing scenario as the woman and her family’s lives were changed for the better.
The single mother of two was pleased to have solar installed at her home, she now has lights on, her family can watch television and power some of their essential utilities, plus her children are now able to study and do their schoolwork after sunset.
At Ulwazi, we believe that our job is not only to provide clients with lights but to go beyond that. We create a permanent solution that can birth endless opportunities and possibilities in the future. When a client installs solar, we guarantee to save you money and to power you during load shedding, when days are dark.
Furthermore, in addition to the Soshanguve project, Ulwazi Technologies completed a Ulwazi Bosii package, powering a double story house in Polokwane. Since our systems can be scaled up, the Ulwazi team also upgraded an existing Ulwazi Bossi system for a client in Craighall, north of Johannesburg, adding more panels as well as increasing the inverter capacity. The Ulwazi team added 12 365 kw Canadian panels to the client’s existing 9 panels, thus boosting the power system from 5-kilowatt to an 8-kilowatt system.
We are confident to say that our client, with his upgraded system, will now be able to use all house utilities off grid, with Eskom only as back up.
