Tony Leon to join the campaign trail with DA Gauteng
Submitted by: MyPressportal TeamFor three days, 23 – 25 April, former Leader of the DA, Tony Leon, will campaign across Gauteng.
Leon led the Democratic Party, and later the Democratic Alliance between 1995 and 2007, building the DA into the official opposition in South Africa, and into a party for all people.

Wednesday, 24 April
- 11h00 – Mass march with DA members, Gauteng Leader John Moodey and DA Crime Spokesperson John Steenhuisen, for better Gauteng policing (Memorandum to Premier’s Office, 30 Simmonds Street, Marshalltown, Johannesburg)
- 18h00 – Townhall in Alberton (Alberton Civic Centre, Alwyn Taljaard Street, Alberton)
Thursday, 25 April
- 08h00 – Breakfast with business leaders (Memento’s Resturant, Losberg Avenue, Fochville, Merafong)
- 11h00 – March with DA members against Crime and Corruption (Fochville, Merafong – address to be confirmed)
- 14h00 – Address to a retirement Village (Randjeslaagte Estate, 6 Randjeslaaget Road, Highlands North, Pretoria)
