Three suspects nabbed in attempted housebreak

Submitted by: Jacqui

A quick two minute response from Fidelity ADT curbed thieves in Bryanston from breaking into a house this morning.  At around 01:36 on 5th July three suspects gained access to premises in Clonmore Street.

The dogs on the property started barking and the suspects activated the beams. Hearing the noise the client immediately pressed the panic button. Fidelity ADT response officers responding to the panic were able to apprehend three suspects on the property.

One of the suspects was armed with a knife. The suspects were handed over to Constable Masuku from Randburg SAPS. Steven Bronks, Community Development Manager of Fidelity ADT says the Officers responded  quickly and efficiently.

“We congratulate the officers on these arrests. Dogs and perimeter beams are such an important early warning system for homeowners as illustrated in this incident,“ Bronks says.  We urge all residents to ensure their perimeter security is effective and in good condition. “In this instance early detection and the fact the resident had his panic button saved the day,” he concludes.
