People all over the country have auditioned for a coveted spot to compete against a line-up of much-loved celebrity all-stars from the previous nine seasons of Tropika Island of Treasure. The show has returned for its tenth season with 18 locals who have been selected to participate in the competition alongside the celebrity all-star cast.

Launched in 2008, Tropika Island of Treasure has been growing in popularity as the hit reality show has taken audiences on island adventures all the way from the Maldives to Zanzibar. As the first phase of the Tropika Island of Treasure's tenth anniversary has drawn to a close, many shoppers and Tropika enthusiasts have walked away with incredible exciting prizes.

As the countdown for the launch of the new season begins, audiences can look forward to seeing participants chosen from across the country battling it out for their spot on the island and the favour of the celebrity All-stars. The 18 will compete for a spot to join the celebrity all-stars on a yet-to-be-revealed island paradise for a chance to win the grand prize. “Tropika Island of Treasure All-Stars will be the most memorable, influential, and smooothest season yet,” promises Miantha Roux, Clover Beverages Marketing Manager.

1. Tayne Gavin De Villiers, 21, Johannesburg:
Tayne De Villiers is an international model and middle weight boxer from KZN. He studied event and marketing management through UCT while maintaining his strict fitness regimen and love for travel. He believes that Tropika Island of Treasure All Stars is the perfect platform and opportunity for him to meet new people and broaden his horizons.

2. Beuton Gabe Nero, 27, Piketberg:
Beuton Nero is all about that smoooth lifestyle. He exudes confidence, is super competitive and highly entertaining, attributes which obviously make him an ideal fit for Tropika Island of Treasure All Stars. Beuton’s passion lies in reality TV, creating innovative content and living an ultra-healthy lifestyle.

3. Taryl Ogle, 28, Port Shepstone:
Joining the cast of Tropika Island of Treasure All Stars is Port Shepstone born Taryl Ogle. A fierce feminist known for her vocal prowess in a local singing competition, Taryl has a keen passion for radio as well as television. She is an extrovert, third-year law student and an e-commerce entrepreneur - the aforementioned will certainly help her on the show.

4. Janice Bauer, 28, Gqeberha:
Janice Bauer, affectionately known as ‘Jae’ is a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with - just what Tropika Island of Treasure All Stars is looking for! A personal fitness trainer from Gqeberha, Jae is resilient, never backs down from a challenge and will stop at nothing to motivate those around her to be the greatest version of themselves. She can’t wait to go to the Island and meet the cast and crew.

5. Dainamiaro Doorni Ogulu, 25, Durban
Dain, the self-proclaimed ‘sexy chocolate slab with a picture-perfect smile’, is every bit flirtatious as he is determined. A charming 25-year-old with a high emotional quotient, Dain stays smoooth under pressure, no doubt a skill that has been honed over time due to his budding career as an editorial model, tv personality, entrepreneur and a commercial actor. He’s going to slay Tropika Island of Treasure All Stars one dreamy wink at a time.

6. Bianca Jean Edwards, 31, Durban:
Known as The Model Mom on Instagram Bianca Edwards is a vivaciously outgoing international model scout, professional model trainer and even owns a model academy. Currently training over 70 students to become the very best version of themselves, Bianca is passionate about the youth and helping them understand their full potential. She is married to her long time sweetheart, has a family of four kids and is insanely excited to be part of Tropika Island of Treasure All-Stars.

7. Lelani Loots, 36, Witbank:
Lelani Loots is a 36-year-old who has built a formidable family of fitness fanatics through her daily career as an online personal trainer. Based in Centurion, Lelani has created a safe space for women to workout at her outdoor bootcamp and is super inspired to continue growing her community and helping people achieve their goals. She believes that being a highly active person, fun and her natural love for traveling will give her an edge on Tropika Island of Treasure.

8. Boitumelo Moloto, 25, Johannesburg:
This season of Tropika Island of Treasure we have Melo, a witty and inquisitive 25-year-old from Johannesburg who loves singing in her car and happy dancing every chance she gets. Melo is a journalism graduate who enjoys adventure, playing games and solving puzzles. She aspires to travel the world and loves eating fruits - maybe an exotic island is just the place for her!

9. Ofentse Arthur Boloko, 30, Tshwane:
This extroverted hunk with a heart is sure to get pulses racing across TV screens in SA - Ofentse Boloko is joining the cast of Tropika Island of Treasure! Currently residing in Johannesburg, Ofentse is an extroverted fitness enthusiast. As a former professional rugby player Ofentse holds down his super busy career as a personal trainer, he also body builds and finds time to explore the coolest local restaurants to satisfy his foody cravings with his closest friends.

10. Simphiwe ‘Jack’ Mabaso, 27, Midrand:
Simphiwe Jack Mabaso preferably known as ‘Jack Mabaso’ is a 27-year-old fitness trainer from Midrand who is probably the biggest Tropika Island of Treasure fan himself, so he is incredibly excited to join the cast this season. Jack takes pride in his role as an online fitness coach and hopes to continue inspiring both men and women alike to lead healthy lifestyles. His gentle and patient nature will no doubt turn him into a serious fan-favourite while on the show.

11. Shandukani Shonisani Tikva Masutha, 32, Soweto:
Joining the cast this season is multilingual Shonisani SST Masutha. She speaks 7 languages has 2 master’s degrees and has a plethora of accolades under her belt such as being one of SA’s Top Shining Stars in Sport and Recreation, profiled as a game changer in sports here in South Africa with several more; it seems like Shonisani won’t be slowing down anytime soon!

12. Ruan Scheepers, 27, Krugersdorp:
Ruan is a commercial model and brand ambassador hailing from Krugersdorp. He is currently the reigning Mr Global South Africa representing South Africa on the International stage. He is not all looks though as he spends his days working in medical research. He is very excited to be joining the cast of Tropika Island of Treasure All Stars.

13. Alyssa Conley, 31, Johannesburg:
This season we have an Olympian joining our cast! Alyssa Conley is a 4 times 100m and 200m SA National Champion Africa Champs 200m Silver Medalist, Springboks Woman’s 7s player and even has a B.A in Sports Psychology - what a powerhouse! Alyssa is extremely passionate about sports and athlete development, specifically in the female sphere and her aspiration is to push boundaries and grow woman’s sport in South Africa.

14. Sria Reddy, 21, Johannesburg:
Sria loves the creative side of life where she can be herself and show people around her that it’s better to be yourself than try and be anyone else! Wise at the young age of 21, Sria knows that ever since she was a baby, she is meant to be known and loved by many people and is super excited to push her career in this direction with Tropika Island of Treasure All Stars! Her hustle to make it to the top is only beginning!

15. Zwelethu Dube, 38, Johannesburg:
You’ve seen him on your screens before and you’ll be seeing him again this All Star season, joining our vast cast of contestants this season is none-other than seasoned actor Zwelethu Dube. He has worked on productions in the USA, Asia and Australia and has graced the stage in a Broadway showcase too, so he definitely knows a thing or two about international travel. He can’t wait to embark on this new adventure and grace you all with his charisma and that sensual baritone voice of his.

16. Liardus Nel, 24, Newcastle:
24-year-old fitness junky Liardus Nel from Cape Town loves being pushed to his limits. Liardus believes leadership starts with you and you should always set the standard - this belief will no doubt see him succeed on the Tropika island. “Life is too short not to take the opportunities that come your way. My life motto is: You only have this moment.” Wise words from Liardus.

17. Lerecia Mcpherson, 19, Worcester:
Self-proclaimed ‘dynamite in a small package’ Lerecia is the definition of vibey, driven and passionate all of which she believes will make her the ultimate contestant on the Tropika island. A full-time content creator on TikTok, she is no stranger to being her true authentic self in front of a camera and will certainly deliver while on the show!

18. Neenã Macaïre Bezuidenhout, 25, Empangeni:
Joining the cast of the Tropika All Star season is Neeña a full-time model and budding philanthropist from Empangeni. Neeña believes her trademark is always laughing and smiling - as she never gives up, strives to persevere in all that she does and enters every challenge with a courageous spirit. She is beyond enthusiastic about being on the show!
