Lend your support to the Peace Haven Crisis Care Unit!

LEND YOUR SUPPORT TO THE PEACE HAVEN CRISIS CARE UNIT!: Bernice Clarisse (The Property Manager under the Broll Property Group) with the Peace Haven Crisis Care Unit team, Mavis Ndimande, Melody Chataka and Pastor Sibusiso Ndimande on standing ready to wrap that gift for your loved one!

If gift wrapping is not your strong suit, and you tend to make a mess of it, why not give our “elves” at Springfield Retail Centre a visit, and they will be happy to help.

From now until the 24th December, the team from the Peace Haven Crisis Care Unit, will be stationed outside Toyzone at Springfield Retail Centre from 08h30 until 16h30, and they will gladly assist you. All the wrapping fees are on a donation basis, with all proceeds going towards their amazing organisation.

In addition to gift wrapping, they will have a box stationed outside Food Lover’s Market, and any food donations (canned foods, baby food, toiletries, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.

The mission of Peace Haven Crisis Care (NPO No: 057-516), based in Inanda, is to reduce the trauma of people as a result of any abuse and crime by being “MY BROTHERS KEEPER”, proudly run by a team of 6 amazing people, headed by Pastor Sibusiso Ndimande. They care for and offer free counselling for abused women or men or rape victims, look after orphaned babies (from the ages of 0 to 12 years) and guide locals who suffer from HIV or Aids.

This organisation is self-funded and relies 100% on donations – anything from clothing & footwear, household goods, non-perishable food products to cash donations, in order for them to assist in helping others.

So, when you next pop into Springfield Retail Centre, make sure you pop by their stations and, if possible, donate whatever you can.

During these times, let’s continue to undertake humanitarian work for those less fortunate and in dire straits!
