Johannesburg, May 2022: The BabyYumYum.co.za Virtual Parenting Experience powered by Momentum Medical Scheme is just days away and delegates are in for a three day experience jam-packed with an impressive and varied assortment of topics and ideas all relating to the common goal of empowering parents in the most challenging and fulfilling journey of their lives.

Amanda Rogaly, Chief Mommy and Founder of BabyYumYum.co.za and The BabyYumYum.co.za Virtual Parenting Experience powered by Momentum Medical Scheme shares the rationale behind the selection of experts for the three-day virtual experience: “My fundamental belief and vision for BabyYumYum.co.za has always been to empower and educate parents through content that is relatable, local and of the highest quality. That action has been carried through to our choice of speakers too. Together with my guest Editor, Karabo Mokoena, our selection of speakers has been carefully handpicked to display diversity and be representative of the demographics of our country. We intentionally sought out speakers who are relatable to different parenting styles and cover topics which are all part of the day-to-day parenting process through to the most unconventional and risqué.”

Karabo Mokoena, MC and Guest Editor of BabyYumYum.co.za is a girl-mom to two who describes herself as a parenting conversationalist, content creator: “I am proud to be aligned with a parenting portal that provides expert parenting content and stories from other parents. My passion for parenting is driven by a deep need to make the parenting journey a little less challenging than it already is. After all, parenting is the hardest job in the world! Of course, there will also be content covering things like getting your child to sleep through the night with Meg Faure from Parent Sense, and insights on her personal experience of post-natal depression with Metro FM’s Melanie Bala. Relatable issues which continue to flummox parents like how to deal with toddler tantrums in public will be covered by Transformational Parenting Coach, Nozipho Mbatha from Nurture with Nozi.

The Virtual Parenting Experience (#VPE2022) is proud to welcome speakers who will demystify less common topics such as questions you are too shy to ask your gynae which will be hosted by Dr Natalia Novikova; and Clinical Psychologist, Lwanele Khasu will take a look at family mental health which should be high on everyone’s list of priorities but is often overlooked in the busyness of life; and Zibuse Kunene will delve into the sensitive subject of the absent father.

Other topics will include bed-wetting, breastfeeding, weaning, meditation, work / life balance and even self defence as well as make up and wardrobe tips to help Moms feel gorgeous!
