The East Rand Wedding Show’s 2nd Annual wedding show set to take place on the 25th & 26th July 2015 at Emperors Palace Hotel Casino Convention and Entertainment Resort.

This year’s show will see the East Rand Wedding Show joining forces with Cake Extreme to create an extreme wedding cake that is certain to create a buzz in the Wedding Industry. Brides and Grooms are invited come along to the show and take a ‘selfie’ of themselves as the Wedding Cake Topper atop a 3m high Wedding Cake.

The man behind this extreme creation is Paul Vieira, the owner and creator of Johannesburg based bakery – Cake Extreme. Paul has worked hard to build his business and learn the trade of baking. He is a qualified Electrical Engineer and has effortlessly combined his two passions to create, design and bake the most jaw dropping specialty cakes!

In May, 2013 Paul opened Cake Extreme in Boksburg and, as the name suggests, Paul wanted to create a business that solely focused on custom-made extreme cake masterpieces. Paul took his talent to the next level and began focusing on creating beautiful, awe-inspiring specialty cakes for all types of occasions. It was through word-of-mouth, attending social events and exhibitions that his incredible talent was showcased and where Paul quickly became dubbed as the ‘South African Cake Boss’.

It’s only fitting as a resident and business owner of the east rand that Paul creates another one of his masterpieces right here on his door step, where he is notorious for making many brides wedding cake dreams a reality. Paul is extremely excited about creating this first-of-its-kind initiative in South Africa.

Paul will be linking this extreme cake creation to a charity, therefore couples are encouraged to purchase a raffle ticket to the value of R50 before they take their ‘Wedding Cake Topper Selfie’. The couple who wins the raffle (via lucky draw) will win their dream wedding cake valued at R9 500. Raffle ticket proceeds will be in support of breast cancer awareness and will go to the Pink Drive -South Africa´s best-loved Breast Cancer Community Carer.
