The 5 star Hotel Izulu will host its renowned monthly wine market in partnership with Bayede! on Sunday 22 September for a cost of R175.00 per adult. Guests can enjoy a day of food and wine pairing from 12:00 onwards while being entertained by the band ‘Afritude’.

The food and wine pairing options are garlic grilled LM Prawns, wok fried Asian noodles and caper compound butter paired with Queen Thomo Sauvignon Blanc 2012, poached salmon fillet, crushed new potatoes and hollandaise sauce paired with The Prince Sauvignon Blanc 2013 and panzanella – Tuscan bread salad with roasted peppers, vine tomatoes, cucumber, olives, capers, red onion and basil vinaigrette paired with The Prince White 2012.

Further options include roast sirloin of beef, gratin dauphinoise, green beans and peppercorn sauce paired with HM King Goodwill Shiraz 2010 and Moroccan lamb tagine with apricots, cinnamon, cumin and coriander, couscous salad and cucumber, yoghurt and mint salsa paired with The Prince Cabernet Sauvignon 2012.

For the kid’s, a selection of burgers, hot dogs and ice cream cones will be available.

Also on offer will be Hotel Izulu’s Deli which will include soup, cheese boards, breads, biscuits and our famous fudge. 

All of the wines are available for purchase at a special reduced price by the bottle.  Wine chillers are also available to purchase at R79 each.
