Hotel Izulu Celebrates St Patrick’s Day with Wine Market
Submitted by: The P.R TeamThe 5-star Hotel Izuluin Ballito will celebrate St Patrick’s Day with a very special wine market on Sunday, March 17 from 12h00 and present new food pairings created by Executive Chef, Karel Jacobs, at the cost of R175.00 per adult with entertainment provided by the band ‘Afritude’.
The food and wine pairing options are – bacon, avocado pear and gorgonzola tortilla wrap with cherry and pineapple salsa paired with Zevenwacht 7even rosé 2012 and grilled chicken fillet with an Irish whiskey and rosemary sauce with Zevenwacht the Tin Mine white 2012.
Further options include calamari with apricot and paw-paw sauce served with fried potato skins paired with Zevenwacht Sauvignon Blanc 2012, traditional Irish stew with lamb, carrots leeks and potato paired with Zevenwacht The Tin Mine Red 2011 and steak and Guinness pot pie paired with Zevenwacht merlot 2009.
For the kid’s, a selection of burgers, hot dogs and ice cream cones.
Also on offer will be Hotel Izulu’s Deli which will include soup, cheese boards, breads, biscuits and the famous fudge.
All of the wines are available for purchase at a special reduced price by the bottle.
Wine chillers are also available to purchase at R79 each.
