Larger-than-life Entertainment at Bay Harbour Market this Weekend

From jazz divas and 60s classics to world music from some of the best in the business, make sure you're at Bay Harbour Market this weekend for a great line-up of talented acts.

Bringing the stage to life on November 30th for Friday Nite LIVE! is a trio of jazz divas who call themselves 3 Tons of Fun. These awesome, most-loved, three larger-than-life ladies sing up a storm with their upbeat blend of jazzy groove and are worth their weight in gold voices. Don't miss out on this fun evening!

Providing the music on Saturday December 1st is accomplished muso Gordon Mackay. Gordon began his musical career at the age of five with classical tuition on the Violin and Piano. He has gone on to enjoy a fulfilling musical career having performed with numerous bands extensively throughout South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Bophutatswana.

His wide musical experience includes jazz, rock, country rock, pop, commercial, comedy show bands, backing local and International cabaret stars as well as SABC Radio & Television session work. Whilst entertaining, Gordon sings, plays keyboards, guitar and also performs some stunning pieces on the electric violin .His music includes ballads, rock, reggae, and a wide variety of foot tapping favourites from the 50's and 60's onwards.  Make sure you check him out!

Taking to the stage on Sunday December 2 is highly experienced Zimbabwe-born musician Charles Summerfield, along with Congolese guitarist Babouleta Sylvain Parfait and talented musician Heather Roth. Charles is a passionate singer/songwriter who has performed with accomplished artists the world over. He teamed up with talented guitarist Babouleta Sylvain Parfait when he created his unique band, the Unlimited Resources of Joy (URJ). URJ is a fluid collective of artists from around the globe renowned for their distinctive blend of afro-balkan-latino-jazz.

Heather Roth is a classically trained flautist and saxophonist with an incredible wealth of musical experience, having played all over the world with numerous bands, orchestras and performers. She has shared the stage with Mac McKenzie and his Goema Jazz Projects, the National Youth Orchestra and acclaimed bass player and producer Schalk Joubert. This is one performance you don't want to miss!

As well as awesome live music, arts, crafts, fashion, decor and delicious cuisine, Bay Harbour is also hosting a monthly comedy showcase on the first Wednesday of each month.
