South Africa, Johannesburg, April 2020: As the first episode of Family Feud South Africa aired on e.tv last night, G2 Connection, Rapid Blue TV and KFC celebrated their part in the successful launch of the popular game show on the continent.

G2 Connection was established in 2019 as a joint venture between media legend Virginia Hollis and experienced industry expert Gail Hoffmann Parrish. The business focuses on connecting brands to strategically aligned communication opportunities that amplify and reinforce the creative brand message. “Our primary focus is to provide tangible opportunities for clients that are beyond a once-off investment,” explained Hollis.

“We have been working on this project for almost a year so it was very rewarding to finally launch and receive such an incredible reception last night,” continued Hollis. “Right now, it’s a challenging time for all businesses, so we are especially proud of how everyone involved pulled together to deliver this exceptional program.”

In addition to Family Feud, G2 Connection currently has a number of shows on its books, including The Fashion Hero, a global series focusing on the fashion industry - with a twist. “In this show we are looking for everyday people who do not conform to the fashion industry norm. The Fashion Hero celebrates diversity and gives a voice to people who have felt that they were never good enough, empowering real people to become role models for this generation,” said Hollis.

The 26-episode South African season of Family Feud will air every Sunday at 6pm on e.tv until 27th SeptemberHosted by award-winning entertainer, businessman and philanthropist STEVE HARVEY, the iconic game show has two families competing to name the most popular responses to gathered survey questions in order to win cash and prizes. It also made its debut in Ghana this past weekend.
