South Africa’s top 20 restaurants and the best chefs in the country will be announced at the foodie event of the year, the 2019 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards, to be held on Sunday, 17 November 2019 at GrandWest’s Grand Arena in Cape Town.

These winners are chosen by professional panel of judges whose identities remain secret, ensuring their experience matches that of any other diner.

A stellar line-up of some of South Africa’s top chefs will create a multiple-course lunch at the ceremony, and the theme is a Grand Garden Party, reflecting the event’s sustainability focus. Chefs, celebrities and diners will celebrate the awards with bubbles, excellent food and dancing into the night.
