PIC Solutions Expands Relationship Management

{pp}Cape Town, 17 July 2008 – PIC Solutions, the leading credit risk management company in the Africa and Middle East region, has expanded the relationship management capacity of the Cape Town office by adding Cheryl Paarwater as a Relationship Manager.

Cape Town is the head office of PIC Solutions and whilst much of the news over the past year has been about the growth of the other four offices in Dubai, Johannesburg, Manama and Nairobi, business in the Cape continues to grow from strength to strength.

The expansion of the Cape Town-based team is to cater for the ever-growing client base and demand for locally based relationship management and support. Cheryl has 9 years sales and marketing experience. Whilst completing her final year for BA degree majoring in Psychology and Political Studies, Cheryl’s working career was kick-started with a sales position at one of the largest telecommunications companies in South Africa.

Cheryl was responsible for the acquisition of new business and the retention of existing business, focusing on corporate business. A move to the pharmaceutical industry ensued, where Cheryl was responsible for the marketing of a portfolio of ethical drugs to a targeted group of General Practitioners and Specialists. During this time, she completed a BCom Honours degree in Marketing and Management at the University of the Western Cape. In 2004 Cheryl moved into the financial services industry, working as a customer relationship manager for Prism Holdings, now NET1 U.E.P.S., focusing on the EasyPay offering.

After two years, she took over the marketing function, launching EasyPay’s first television campaign. Cheryl is a member of the Institute of Credit. Cheryl’s experience and industry knowledge will further increase PIC Solutions capacity to deliver end-to-end credit risk management solutions to clients in the Western Cape.
