Following a hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Rand Show returns to Nasrec during the week of 13-18 April 2022, and - by popular demand - Rand Show 2022 is bringing Rand Show Live Music Concerts back from Friday 15 April to Monday 18 April, as the world begins its return to live events following intermittent lockdown restrictions.

Rand Show 2022’s music festival will feature a star-studded line-up South Africa’s most popular performers, with two A-list artists per day in the Main Arena. Tickets to Rand Show 2022 can be purchased online now. Music festival tickets are sold separately from general admission tickets but will grant ticketholders free access to the Rand Show.

On Friday, 15 February, the main stage will feature A-List performances from Goodluck and Mi Casa.  Saturday’s show sees A-Listers Shekinah and TKZee take to the stage. On Sunday, 17 April, Kelly Khumalo, Doctor Victor and MXO perform. And headliners on Monday, 18 April are Mafikizolo and AKA, with an as-yet unrevealed surprise act potentially making an appearance on Sunday.

Other featured artists include Mr Keys, Boki, Early B, Barbosa and daily performances from popular local DJs. Didi Okoro, Head of Sales for Rand Show 2022 says, “South Africa is dying to get out and about again, and we all really missed large-scale live music events during the pandemic. We want this year’s show to be the best ever, and we have paid close attention to what the public wants to experience. So, we’re bringing SA’s best artists to the stage to beat the lockdown fatigue and show South Africa what Joburg’s best day out really looks like”.
