Aside from being the preferred retail choice for shoppers in Kyalami and surrounds, the Kyalami Corner shopping centre in Midrand is also proud to periodically play host to pop-up events, which give local small businesses a place to exhibit their goods.

This April, the Kyalami Market will do just that, with approximately 50 small businesses gathering in the parking lot in front of the Dis-Chem at Kyalami Corner to exhibit products ranging from food, fashion, pet accessories and cosmetics, to puzzles, toys, craft drinks and many more. Taking place on Saturday, 2 April and Sunday, 3 April, the Kyalami Market is presented in association with Popping, a pop-up shop platform and leader in this sphere.

In addition to an extensive collection of products that visitors can look forward to, the Kyalami Market will also feature live entertainment, with bands performing throughout the day. Make a note to drop by between 10:00 and 16:30, when various musical performances will entertain attendees of the market. Make a special note to not miss Lindo Magade and his collective, whose smooth sounds will woo the crowd and lend a laid-back atmosphere to the event. Remember to keep an eye out for some Kyalami Corner retailers, who will also be joining in the fun.

Shoppers are welcome to bring their pets along, provided they are on a leash. Secure parking is available at the centre, and strict COVID-19 protocols will be followed – no mask, no entry. Entrance is free, and the market opens at 09:00 and closes at 17:00 on both days.
