Local is Lekka! Score and win during the 2009 Rugby Season!

{pp}Win a year's worth of free beer and 100 Red Roses with Interflora South Africa.

On the 9th of August, Interflora South Africa launched a "Local is Lekka" competition in which clients can win a year's supply of beer. To enter, participants simply need to purchase any of the hampers available from Interflora South Africa's catalogue for domestic delivery.

The promotion comes just at the right time as South Africa's popular rugby season is well underway. The international Tri-Nations tournament between the Springboks, the All-Blacks and the Wallabies sees South Africa at the top of the log and the domestic Curry Cup tournament has featured a few nail-biting games so far.

The competition began on Sunday the 9th of August 2009 and is open to anyone ordering an Interflora hamper for delivery within South Africa. The closing date is on Monday the 24th of August 2009, after which the draw will be made on Tuesday the 25th of August. The winner will be contacted by telephone and their name will be announced on the Interflora South Africa website, https://www.interflora.co.za.

The hampers that are available include products suited to all tastes. The selection incorporates gifts suited to men, women and teens with tasteful presentation. Hampers include flower assortments, gift hampers with sweets and tasty treats and corporate wine hampers. Whether for a celebration or simply as a token of affection, the wide selection of hampers from Interflora will always have choices suited to any occasion.

"At Interflora South Africa, we thought a fantastic opportunity to create awareness of our product range's luxurious hampers would be a competition. We realised that the popular rugby season leaves many girlfriends and wives missing their partners on a Saturday afternoon. We thought it would be a great to offer men the chance to spoiling their girlfriends with a Hundred Red Roses, whilst their beer orders for the rugby are taken care of!" says Sharon Louw, CEO of Interflora South Africa.

The prize winner will receive the luxurious 100 Red Roses product from Interflora, a recently launched item whose popularity has grown immensely since its mid-year launch, plus twelve cases of premium South African beer. The prize winner can opt to receive their year's supply in the amount of one case per month for 12 months or all 12 cases at once.

The 100 Red Roses product is a striking arrangement of 100 deep red roses in a classic glass vase.

"Interflora South Africa supports South African rugby through and through, and what better way than to kick off the Rugby season than a competition for a great prize which satisfies the best of both worlds for men and women?" asks Louw. "South Africa produces world-renowned beer and Interflora produces world renowned flowers. Together they comprise a fantastic reward to our "Local is Lekka" competition and accompaniment to the South African rugby season".
