A global Dove study, ‘Real Mothers Heard’, gathered insights from 6 000 mothers around the world. The findings show that 85% of women feel that being a mother is the happiest time of their life but equally that 89% feel pressure to be a perfect parent. This level of pressure is reinforced with the fact that 58% feel overwhelmed by the amount of information and advice on parenting. A barrage of information from all sorts of sources leave new mums unsure of what to do, what facts to pay attention to and what advice to take.

Baby Dove supports mothers, by reminding them that no one knows their baby better than they do. And Dove believes that this positive reinforcement is just what mums need to hear, to be able to close out the noise and criticism, and listen in, and trust themselves to look after their baby just the right way.
