MyGate Partners with Barclays Mauritius for Online Payments
Submitted by: MyPressportal TeamBarclays Mauritius has partnered with online payments leader MyGate for its merchant payment gateway solution, allowing the bank to implement its e-commerce solutions with no integration and at a reduced cost and time to market.
The partnership allows merchants to use Barclays as their acquirer – gaining access to the many online payment processing benefits it has to offer – while also getting the benefit of the wide range of MyGate online payment solutions, fraud tools, business reporting and e-commerce experience.
Merchants looking to expand into cross-border payments can now leverage this through a single integration with MyGate, which has nine years of extensive e-commerce experience behind it and is assisting banks with rolling out e-commerce products.
The partnership has been welcomed by Mannen Arnassallon, acquiring manager of Barclays Mauritius.
“Partnering with MyGate aligns with our ethos of providing a world class payment offering to our customers,” said Arnassallon.
“E-commerce is a booming industry across the continent and implementations such as these serve to ease the process for merchants in accepting payments on their platforms.”
Glen Ross, MyGate Sales Director said: “We’re very pleased to be partnering with Barclays, whose expertise in card payments compliments our e-commerce processing solutions for merchants. Together with Barclays, merchants wanting to expand their business into Africa and global markets through Mauritius can make use of the e-commerce solution.“
MyGate is Level 1 PCI certified, making the online payment processor one of the most secure payment gateway platforms for merchants in Africa. The company offers a host of online payment solutions servicing a wide range of verticals including telcos, insurance, e-retail and e-government.
