Large Format Printing is Big Business in Cape Town

Asset Print announces positive growth in the large format poster, banner, signage and wallpaper printing industry in Cape Town.

Cape Town, May 2013: Asset Print ( ), one of the Western Capes most well respected independently operated printing company, has announced yet further positive growth in the large format printing industry in Cape Town.

Cape Town has seen some positive growth in the printing industry since the beginning of 2013, but it is the large format printing industry that has been the biggest winner. This growth is being spearheaded by a number of independently owned and operated printing companies in the western Cape such as Asset Print, who’s owner/operator Mr. Michael Fortuin had this to say about the part he and his company have had to play in the printing turnaround currently being experienced in the Province:

“The printing industry in the Western Cape has weathered a few tough years over the past decade, so it is good to see that there is once again positive growth in part of the printing industry. It is even more exciting for us to experience this growth however, because we are one of the main printing companies who have lead the charge to show South Africa that we (in Cape Town) can and will soon be seen as the printing capital of the country.” He further went on to add that, “our large format printing has become well known in printing circles not just because of price and quality, but because of service. We not only have a brick and mortar store that you can walk into to place your print order, but also have an online print store that offers a complete hassel free print ordering system that can be accessed from anywhere you have internet access from.”

The large format digital printing items that have seen the biggest growth over the past 5 months have been posters, banners, outdoor signage and even wallpaper printing.
