OnlineTenders Waives Price Increase, and Maintains more Tenders than Competitors

Actions always speaking louder than words with OnlineTenders

South Africa’s leading online tendering platform OnlineTenders is happy to announce it has waived a planned price increase. The price increase was scheduled for 1st May 2020. But this has been waived keeping in mind the the pandemic’s effects. OnlineTenders is keeping its costs the same to assist the business rescue process.

OnlineTenders’ Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Avinash Samlall commented, “It’s a tough time for everyone. Every Rand earned is more valuable, and so is every Rand saved. We had a plan to increase the fee for OnlineTenders earlier this month but didn’t go ahead with it considering the current situation. The pandemic is affecting all of us and OnlineTenders is happy to afford every relief possible to its users.”

Moreover, OnlineTenders is proud to share that the platform is maintaining more tenders than the competition. In April, OnlineTenders had just over 8,000 tenders and business leads while our competitors had fewer that a third of this number.

OnlineTenders is hopeful that both these updates are encouraging given the current pandemic. The company is also working remotely, having given its staff resources to work from home, trying to carry on business as usual as best as possible.

Mr. Samlall remarked about this, “Every business understands just how crucial new clients and contracts are. And this importance shot up during the pandemic. This is why we’re happy to do things like waive price increases and proud of things like offering more tenders than our competitors. Of course, we wish all players in the market the best as we want everyone to make it out of this storm. We’re just proud to play a leading role in helping small and medium businesses get the best tenders.”

With so many SMEs struggling, OnlineTenders is hopeful that it’ll continue to play an important and larger role in helping them secure more contracts and win more tenders.
