OnlineTenders’ Subscribers Securing 900 Tenders Each Day as Economy Bouncing Back

As public sector increases procurement, OnlineTenders enables the private sector to take full advantage

For the leading online tenders platform in South Africa, OnlineTenders, August and September have being busy months. OnlineTenders completes Q3 of 2019 on a high note as the tender service clocked in almost 900 tenders being captured each day by its team.

OnlineTenders attributes this healthy growth to a series of initiatives and earnestness on the company’s part. OnlineTenders’ Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Avinash Samlall commented, “We’ve been quite busy lately, trying to take OnlineTenders to the next level. Whether it’s expanding markets from South Africa to Africa, or catering to the users of a competitor going out of business.”

In June, the online tenders platform took on the subscribers of TradeWorld (a similar service provider and competitor) when it closed its doors. Earlier this year, OnlineTenders also expanded its market reach beyond South Africa, into Africa. The company also upgraded their website and mobile apps in addition to targeting international subscribers.

OnlineTenders has also emphasized the importance of educating its users. The company recently partnered with a Training Academy to offer tender training courses to its subscribers. This move was designed to enable its users to make the best use of the OnlineTenders service.

These endeavours have resulted in the last two months seeing a lot of activity, with a rapidly growing number of tenders being secured by OnlineTenders subscribers. The public sector’s procurement of good and services has increased, which is indicative of a recovering economy.

Mr. Samlall remarked about this, “We’ve always been proud of our contribution to the country's economy. And the boost in procurement activity by the public sector gives us confidence that the economy is slowly turning around. So we are optimistic that OnlineTenders will be used by more parties, and used more efficiently.”

OnlineTenders has maintained its policy of being affordable yet profitable solution. It continues to offer its services, leading to lucrative tender opportunities, at reasonable packages continues to drive the growth of OnlineTenders and its subscribers each day.
