2019 Expo Dates Announced

2018 Africa Print, Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Exhibitions were hailed a major success with positive exhibitor feedback and increased visitors. The event attracted 6494 visitors in total, with 5907 unique visits – an increase from 5839 in 2017 – as well as 587 revisits. The event was sponsored by Platinum sponsor Roland.

The top 10 countries with visitors from outside of South Africa included Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia, Swaziland, Lesotho, Angola, Malawi, Ghana and the Democratic Republic of Congo. There were also visitors fromNamibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Ivory Coast, Mauritius and Uganda.

Sign Africa and Africa Print expo organisers Practical Publishing have announced their event line up for 2019, with events to be hosted in Nelspruit, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, Zimbabwe and Johannesburg.

Visitors to the 2019 expos can take advantage of opportunities in sheetfed A3 machines grand format digital equipment, commercial and digital printers, finishing equipment, software, media and consumables, wide format digital printing, garment decoration, screen printing, signage and more.

South Africa is the gateway into Africa and there is a demand for the expo organisers to host events over the borders. Zimbabwe is an exciting territory for exhibitors that would like to expand their reach into Africa.

In addition to the regional expo’s, the flagship Africa Print expo, co-located with FESPA Africa, Sign Africa, Africa LED and Modern Marketing, will be held in Johannesburg at the Gallagher Convention Centre from 11-13 September 2019.

  • Nelspruit: 20 February 2019, Emnotweni Arena.
  • Port Elizabeth: 27 March 2019, Boardwalk Convention Centre.
  • Cape Town: 8-9 May 2019, Cape Town International Convention Centre.
  • Zimbabwe: 12-13 June 2019, Cresta Lodge Harare. 
  • Johannesburg: 11-13 September 2019, Gallagher Convention Centre.
